About me

My name is Giulia Giehl Keller. I was born in southern Brazil and raised in Cologne, Germany. Growing up between cultures has shaped the way I see the world and continues to influence my artistic perspective.

Art has always been part of my life, from music and dance to photography, where I found my most authentic form of expression through visual storytelling. Through images, I aim to capture emotions, atmosphere, and moments that quietly become lasting memories.

I am currently studying photography at the Instituto Português de Fotografia in Lisbon, where I continue to develop my visual language and explore new creative directions. I especially enjoy working on creative and personal projects that allow space for experimentation and storytelling.

My work focuses on people through portraits, events, and artistic projects, while also exploring nature as a space of stillness, texture, and light. I am drawn to human presence, subtle gestures, and the emotional spaces between moments. My visual language is inspired by color, cinematic aesthetics, and thoughtful composition, with a strong appreciation for simplicity, naturalness, and honesty.

I work with both digital and analog photography and create short-form audiovisual projects for social media, exploring contemporary visual narratives.
